Summer is here! Well, the days are long, the sun is shining most of the time, and my tomatoes are beginning to fruit. I’m very pleased with my veg and I enter it in our village show. I’ve even won prizes.
Feeling successful is an uplifting experience. Have a quick thought. When did you last feel successful? When did anyone compliment you? How did you feel?
The New Testament Is full of stories ,that, at first glance , appear to be contradictory to success. Yet, taking the whole of the New Testament , we know it to be hugely successful. As it says in Colossians 1,27
‘Christ in us ,the hope of Glory’. That’s a success that is ours.
But, each and every one of us still need to feel we can succeed , in this, our present life.
