In both of our scriptures today, Peter is impulsive. He acts quickly, without much thought. He says what he is thinking at the time. Peter got out of the boat when Jesus said ‘Come’ and he got wet and had to be rescued. He had a tale to tell, an experience to ponder, and came to a greater understanding of Jesus.
