I am a Supernumerary Minister living in the Ipswich Circuit following my retirement in 2017. At that time I “sat down” from serving in the Lowestoft and East Suffolk Circuit where I had served for 5 years including the last 2 years as Superintendent of that Circuit. Prior to being stationed there I was stationed for 8 years in the Ipswich Circuit so my retirement has been very much a “coming home”.
In the Ipswich Circuit I have a part-time pastoral responsibility for Brantham Methodist Church which I thoroughly love. I am also District Ecumenical Officer for Suffolk, which I have been for 11 years including 8 years as District Lead Ecumenical Officer. Working with other churches is an important part of my Christian journey but as a Minister one of my priorities is to help people make the decision to follow Christ in their lives.
Last, but certainly not least, my family is a very important part of my life and my wife Heather and I have 3 boys (all married) and 11 grandchildren.
