To turn a corner and to find such beauty, as to take your breath
To look in wonder and to ponder
The Meaning of Christ’s death.
An Easter Tree in all its splendour
Bathed both in shadow and in light.
An Easter Tree in all is glory
A sacred sign of Sacred Story.
An Easter Tree on Easter morn.
When all creation is reborn.
For Christ had died and Risen
And has overcome the grave
And by his love eternal, has won
All power to save.
An Easter Tree on Easter morn
When all creation is reborn.
Oh what a wondrous sight to see.
But greater still his love for me.
