We had a great time on Sunday as we celebrated Easter together. We watched a short cartoon, the puppets brought us an Easter drama and a song and we also learned a new action song together.
Our prayers used ‘Living Crosses’ which will carry on bursting into life over the next few days and we also added names to our ‘Easter Tree’. The service finished with the children joining in with their instruments as we sang Thine be the glory.
After the service there were lots of different crafts for everyone, including Lego flower crosses, Easter bookmarks and scratch-art, followed by hot dogs for everyone before we went home.
All the children also had Easter Eggs to take home with them. We look forward to our next Café Church which is on Sunday 3rd May at 10.30.
