What is truth ? The case for Biblical integrity dvd, 2006 120 minutes US$19.99

How do we know what is really true is the study of epistemology.
How sure can we be of what is true in a time of false information, disinformation and downright lies ?
Dr Chuck Missler explores in some depth the boundaries of our reality, how information may be rightly qualified, offers advice on testing hypotheses and, if you allow for revelation, suggests why supernatural revelation can be trusted.
With a background in information science and experience in senior roles in American business, Dr Missler brings all of that and more to this in-depth study of truth in human experience.
In 2 sessions of about an hour each, the coverage is wide in scope and deep in detail, compiled from a variety of classical sources.
The first session is devoted to the scientific approach to truth, examining the boundaries of reality as you grow up from Playpen to Universe, from the macrocosm (the hugely large) to the microcosm (the incredibly small).
The second session focuses on the Bible with a strong and persuasively argued case for Biblical integrity as an instance of extra-terrestrial communication.
A particularly impressive argument is the examination of the probability of prophecies about the Messiah proving to be true when they are demonstrated to have been fulfilled in the person of Jesus Christ.
One might choose to disallow the possibility of supernatural revelation – the current climate makes that almost too likely – but the case in favour is too powerful to be completely ignored.
There are pdf notes to accompany the dvd.
Chuck Missler presents an engaging and attractive case for truth as an objective rather than a subjective experience of human reason which cannot be lightly dismissed either on scientific or religious grounds.
