Total support

The Ferris Wheel in Felixstowe is in the process of being dismantled. It’s quite interesting to see how each day a bit more of it is craned onto the back of a lorry. Some of the pieces are huge and obviously very strong. They would need to be strong as thousands of people have had a ride in the wheel, myself included. I don’t really have a head for heights but a friend asked me if I would go on it with her at night so that we could see all the lights. This was a good decision as the perception of height was totally different in the dark and I concentrated on the lights of the Port. It was pretty spectacular but I was glad to get back on Terra Firma.

Just as we put our faith in the builders of the Ferris Wheel that the strong supports are in the right place, do we place our faith in the strong support of God’s loving arms. We can be assured that His support is always there and won’t give way or fall apart.
