Derek Prince never claimed to be a theologian, rather did he say he was a Bible teacher.
He was converted in North Africa while serving in the British army after education at Eton and Cambridge where he held a Fellowship in Ancient and Modern Philosophy. He also studied several languages including Hebrew and Aramaic at Cambridge and in Jerusalem.
His approach is non-denominational and non-sectarian but Bible-based.
In this 86 minute film, he expounds from the Scriptures three vital elements of the believers’ approach to God in prayer, viz.
By thanksgiving we acknowledge God’s goodness
By praise we acknowledge God’s greatness, and
By worship we acknowledge God’s holiness.
Note, however, that prayer does consist of far more than these three elements.
