Squeeze!

In my kitchen I always have a tube of hand cream sitting. My hands can get very dry, especially in the wintertime and I don’t always look after them as I should. I don’t wish to promote any particular brand but the one from a country where the first letter is N is my favourite. I have been convinced for at least three weeks that the present tube is almost finished but each time I use it there’s always a little bit more left.

This got me thinking about our wonderful God. How amazing that his love for us is unending. We know that we don’t have to squeeze out the last little bit. His love flows freely for ever.

Singing the Faith 46 v 1

Everlasting God,

the years go by but you’re unchanging.

In this fragile world,

you are the only firm foundation.

Always loving, always true,

always merciful and good, so good.

Yesterday, today and forever,

you are the same, you never change.

Yesterday, today and forever,

you are faithful and we will trust in you.
