I think I mentioned recently that I had acquired a new friend. It’s my shopping trolley. As I have got older, I’m finding that I can’t carry as much as I used to be able to and I think that the two litre containers of milk are especially heavy.
This is where my trolley comes into play and it lightens my load so much. I must confess that up until recently I used to look at people using similar trolleys and think that it would be a while before I used a “Granny trolley” but now I’m proud to walk with mine. It’s my weight lifter.
Sometimes in life we are weighed down by many burdens but we have friends to help us share the load and one special friend to turn to in our Saviour.
Psalm 55 v 22 says, “Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you.”
