This is to let you know that Saul and Tariro landed safely and are now getting used to life in Suffolk. As you can imagine they were pretty shattered after over 24hours of travelling, but are very excited to be here.
What is evident is that there are many things that we take for granted that are new and strange to them, and so we all have many things to learn from each other.
Saul will not be leading Services until he is acclimatised and settled, there are many admin issues with moving to a new country which need to take priority at this time.
At present they do not have any transport, so please consider whether you would be willing to help with picking up and dropping off, shopping trips etc. Particularly those in the Woodbridge vicinity. I know they do have a couple of contact numbers so thank you to those who have offered already.
No doubt they will soon be out and about and are very keen to be part of the Ipswich Circuit.
We are hoping to have the date for Saul’s Welcome Service finalised very soon and do hope as many as possible will be able to join in celebrating the next stage of Saul and Tariro’s ministry.
Some of you may also have had an email saying that Tariro wishes to be known as Hope (Tariro is Shona for Hope) – infact Tariro was thinking it would make things easier for us, so please feel free to call her Tariro or Hope.
