Rainbows of hope

What a terrific and inspiring idea from members of Capel St Mary Methodist Church

===================

Here at Capel Methodist church, some of the Knit and Natter group have been making Rainbows of Hope.

They are either knitted or crocheted. We put them in plastic wallets together with a magnetic card with a Bible verse about Hope.

These are then hung on the railings outside the church with a sign saying they are a gift from the church, please take one.

We wanted to offer God’s Hope and Joy to those in our village in these uncertain times. We started with 12 to see how they would go and have now made about 100 and they disappear as fast as we can make them.

A batch will be going to the members of ‘Daphne’s Cafe’ which is a dementia group run by Capel Parish Nurses

We pray that they are a blessing to those who  take them
