“Rabbit”

Thought for the day – Saturday 1st August 2020

Recently our rabbit was due her annual vaccinations.  She does not like being picked up, so I started early to get her into her carrier.  The first time she squirmed out of my grasp.  The second time she ran to the back of the hutch where she knows I cannot reach her.  Time was ticking and I was beginning to lose patience, but I left her for a short time – then success.

There are two things coming out of this, patience and if at first (or second) you do not succeed try, try again!!

Jesus had plenty of patience – with all the people who came to him to be healed, with the children and with his disciples.  He was always telling the disciples what he meant by his parables, but they never seemed to learn quickly.

So when you have needed patience and to try, try again, an arrow prayer of “please Jesus help me” or “please Jesus give me more patience” usually helps.  Remember Jesus has been there and can help you too – just ask.

God bless.
