Unfortunately due to the lead singer having a throat infection and losing her voice the East of the Sun gig has been cancelled.
MUSIC in the SANCTUARY
As part of their 150th Anniversary Celebrations Woodbridge Methodist Church has invited popular local band East of the Sun to perform a musical gig in their church.
This fun concert with blues and classic pop elements will take place on
Saturday 20th November at 6.30 pm.
East of the Sun have already headlined several gigs in the area, including a fund raiser concert in Elmhurst Park in aid of the Friends of Woodbridge Library. They have played at weddings and garden parties too.
There is free admission and donations are invited in aid of WMC’s work in the community, including our Community Defibrillator which is situated on the boundary wall of the church car-park. It benefits residents in that area of the town.
A church spokesman commented:
“We are delighted to welcome back East of the Sun for a concert at our church. They rehearse here along with other choirs and Woodbridge Orchestral Society. Our work in the community is a valuable part of our church’s outreach”.
