Methodist Homes (Formerly called Methodist Homes for the Aged) held this years MHA Sunday on 13th June, 2021. MHA Sunday is an opportunity to give thanks and celebrate MHA’s specialist care and support, enabling people in later life to live well across Britain. The theme for MHA Sunday 2021 was ‘relieving isolation and bringing hope‘, inspired by the book of Mark 5:1-20.

Watch the MHA Sunday Worship Service livestreamed on Sunday 13th June at 4 p.m. (with music from 3.45 p.m. This year’s service, hosted by TV and radio presenter Pam Rhodes, will give thanks and celebrate MHA specialist care and support services – and MHA supporters to enable MHA to continue to bring hope and support to people in later life across England, Scotland and Wales.

Its mission is to inspire the best care and wellbeing at every stage of later life. Today MHA supports:
- 4,400 older people living in MHA care homes, many receiving specialist dementia or nursing care
- 3,000 older people living independently in retirement living communities, with access to social and leisure facilities and flexible care when needed
- 11,100 older people living independently in their own homes with the support of MHA community services across Britain.
