Keep going!

I really enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles which makes it easy for my family at Christmas and at my birthday to get me presents. This past Christmas my husband bought me a set of three in one box. They are all puzzles of British scenes.

The one I have just finished is Gold Hill in Dorset. Apparently, the advertisement for Hovis bread which was filmed here is the most popular one ever. There’s only one problem with this set of puzzles: the guide is only the size of a postcard which makes it extremely difficult to see the detail in the pictures. On a couple of occasions, I resorted to taking a photo of part of the puzzle so that I could expand it on my phone. Sometimes, as in this particular puzzle, there’s very little detail in parts so it ended up trying piece after piece until I found the right one. It took a while but, in the end, I got it finished.

Do you ever feel in your daily life that you just have to keep trying and trying to finalise something. It can be exhausting to keep going, perhaps with health problems or family commitments but when you put your faith in the Lord, He will sustain you. He’s not just a postcard sized guide and for this we are thankful.
