Dear Siblings in Christ,
[This is a compilation of the information in the past several weeks of Joan’s Jottings which is sent to those who have subscribed to it. Contact Rev. Joan to be added to the email list.]
The leadership of all three churches have all recently met and have come to the same decision, which is to cancel our Sunday in-person worship services through December at all three churches. We have made no decision about January at this point. Our discussions have been undertaken with an abundance of caution and a duty of care to all our members. I am very saddened by this decision, as I am sure you are too, but I feel It is the way that the Holy Spirit has guided us all at this time. Remember at all times, God is with us.
- Landseer Rd & Chantry will be holding a joint Zoom Worship service on Sunday 20th December at 10.30 a.m. In this service we will read the Christmas Story and sing some Carols dressed up in our Christmas finery. Afterwards, we will have a time of fellowship and virtually share some Christmas snacks.
- Museum Street will open for in-person worship on Christmas Day at 10 a.m. They also have a church Christmas Party at the Zoom Coffee morning on Wednesday 16th December at 10 a.m.
- Alan Road Methodist will celebrate Christmas Eve in-person at 11. 30 p.m.

We are still the church in ministry to our community. Since we will not be meeting in person, please contact us to pick up any items you wish to donate to FIND (canned goods, tins of biscuits) by 6th December [Museum Street & Landseer Road] or Lighthouse Women’s Aid (£5 supermarket gift cards) by 13th December [Chantry].

We give thanks at Landseer Road Methodist Church that the fitting of our new church windows has now been completed, and to all who worked so hard to get us to this point and especially to all who contributed to the Window Fund.
