As part of the Friday Club at Landseer Road we have recently secured funding to help with the costs for running the gardening activities. We have recently planted Raspberry canes which are growing nicely and last week it was the turn for strawberries and sunflowers. The pictures below show the children (and some adults) planting sunflowers along the base of one of the painted walls in the garden.
It’s lovely to see children of all ages, including teenagers out in the garden doing these activities and the last pictures show a very mixed game of netball taking place 🙂
