Today is a very special day in my life. It’s my son, Richard’s birthday. He lives in Singapore and we had a wonderful time over the Christmas period when he was home to see us and to visit his friends. Needless to say, his case was quite heavy when he was travelling back as he had birthday presents as well as his Christmas presents to take with him.
One of the things which he is keen to find out when he returns is to see how his plants have survived for a month in the heat. The first time he was away for a few weeks, on his return his plants were almost dead. Now he tries to position them on his balcony so that when it rains it might blow in on them to water them. He was happy this time as they were in good condition.
We are like the plants as we need to be spiritually fed and watered in order to live our Christian lives.
Thank You Lord that we have your word in the bible to nourish us and friends to share it with.
