Last Sunday at Café Church our theme was based around Lent. We started with a song and then celebrated birthdays, rapped the Lords prayer together, the puppets brought us a sketch and a song, and we spent time at three interactive prayer stations.
The stations were to remind us of various aspects of the observance of lent using sand to represent Jesus’ time in the desert, ash handprints and water for washing us clean of the things we have done wrong.
After the service, there were plenty of themed crafts for everyone to do and there were also pancakes for everyone. As the weather was so good we were able to get into the garden for the first time this year 🙂
