We have booked a private screening for our next film which will be Christmas Karma
From visionary British director Gurinder Chadha (Bend It Like Beckham, Blinded By The Light), CHRISTMAS KARMA sees ones of history’s greatest novels – Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol transformed into a joyous, colourful, feel-good Christmas musical that celebrates modern-day London and all of its communities and cultures. Starring Kunal Nayyar, Eva Longoria, Billy Porter, Boy George, Danny Dyer, Leo Suter, Pixie Lott, Charithra Chandran and Hugh Bonneville. Featuring music from Gary Barlow, Nitin Sawhney, Shaznay Lewis, Ben Cullum, Panjabi MC, Jassi Sidhu and Malkit Singh the film features an eclectic soundtrack influenced by gospel, bhangra, carols, rap and classic pop songs. You will not be able to sit still!
Told from Chadha’s unique point of view and in her own distinctive style, the film resonates with Dickens’ masterful statement on the human condition, exploring themes of prejudice, acceptance, reconciliation, identity and belonging. Inspired by Frank Capra’s timeless ‘It’s A Wonderful Life’, CHRISTMAS KARMA is a festive British classic for our times, and for generations to come, that promotes a strong message to be kind, choose love and celebrate the present.
