Welcome to Advent at Methodistic. Advent means coming and it is the period before Christmas when we celebrate the birth of Jesus. The resources on this page will be updated every day to help us prepare for Christmas day.
From tomorrow we will be bringing you a short advent animation every day and,each day during December, in the run up to Christmas, you can read a new story about an individual’s journey through this year. These stories include people who have felt the painful effects of isolation this year, who have experienced insecurity, who have struggled with poor mental health, who have lost loved ones – like so many millions of others.
