My wife and I have recently been able to visit our grand son ( and his parents!) in Liverpool.
We are so grateful we were able to as recent restrictions ,and todays announcement of more stringent ones, mean we don’t know when we will see them in the flesh again.
But God has reminded me of a passage I have referred to before found in 2 Corinthians chapter 4.
It talks about all the hardship Paul and his colleagues were experiencing. It says that despite all they do not lose heart.
Our hardships are nothing compared to Pauls, and many other Christians around the world today, yet we can still feel that we are struggling and suffering. But we have so many reasons not to lose heart- not least the wonderful grace and mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Why not encourage yourself by reading the whole chapter and praising God for His faithfulness
