Last Sunday, we held our Harvest Café Church at Landseer Road. As usual, we started by celebrating the birthdays of everyone who has a birthday during the current month. We watched a cartoon and the puppets brought us a sketch to explain where our food came from. Our prayer time revolved around our favourite foods and thinking about the food that people eat in less fortunate countries than ours. It was great to see some of the young people helping to lead the prayer time 🙂 We finished with everyone joining in on instruments as we sang Lord I lift Your Name on High.
After the service there were lots of craft activities in the church hall and there were lovely jacket potatoes for everyone to enjoy. We are looking forward to our next Café Church on Sunday 1st November at 10.30.
