In Eddie Askew’s book he tells us of a friend who had a really refreshing holiday on a narrow boat on a canal. They watched the life all around them and noticed that the butterflies were flying faster than they were going.
Years ago I went on a week’s holiday on a narrow boat holiday, it was so relaxing just meandering along the canals. I would recommend it, especially these days when there is so much pressure to do things yesterday and so we do not get to appreciate the things around us. If you cannot go on a narrow boat holiday just go out in the garden, visit one of our lovely parks, or wander around your area and enjoy other people’s gardens and, hopefully you will see a butterfly flying by.
