Val was recently presented with the Ivan Kindred Award for Outstanding Achievement for her loyalty and tireless commitment to the Boys’ Brigade. Before her well deserved retirement earlier this year, Val had served the Brigade for over 60 years both at Alan Road and at Landseer Road. She has given countless hours of her time and been a role model to hundreds of boys. The award is given to someone who has made a difference, someone who has gone above and beyond and Val has definitely done that.
