Blister Pack Recycling @ Knodishall Methodist Church

On Friday 8th July, Knodishall Methodist Church had the pleasure of a visit by five Y6 school-council members from Coldfair Green County Primary School. The children, and two of their teachers, arrived to deliver several bags of empty medical pill blister packets for our recycling initiative. It was encouraging to see the young people take such a keen interest in recycling and other initiatives to combat climate change.

To show our appreciation for their effort to engage their parents and other local people in collecting these packets, which would otherwise go into landfill, Knodishall Methodist Church presented them with a book for their library: The Green Planet: For young wildlife-lovers inspired by David Attenborough’s series (BBC Earth). The children enjoyed an ice lolly with us before heading off for a picnic lunch on the common.
